Composer Releases a "Love Letter Expressed in Music"

Composer James Shumway describes his newest release "To the One I Love" as using music to express the words and emotions of a love letter.  The video was filmed in Aspen Grove, Utah by Nick Sales, who has also shot for the Piano Guys.  

This piano solo follows on the heels of two other piano recordings, "IOU" and “Regrets,” “IOU” capturing the ecstasy of falling in love and finding one’s soulmate, “Regrets” the agony of a tormented soul, unable to change the past.

James Shumway began training as a classical pianist at age 6, and began writing music at age 9.  This led to the composition of many instrumental works, various awards, and involvement in several bands.
